I saw this pass by on Instagram and was intrigued by what kind of dressing this is.
Apparantly this dressing is named after a play. The chef at the Palace Hotel in California wanted to pay homage to its director.
This dressing, just like the caesar, also has mayo in it, ansjovis and lemon juice but also creme fraiche (always a good idea) and loads of herbs.
This is a great dressing for a salad but do't forget to make these green quesadilla's because these are amazing!
green goddess dressing
- 4 tablespoon mayonaise
- 2 tablespoon creme fraiche
- 4 ansjovisfilets
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 15 grams chives
- 15 grams parsley
- 15 grams basilicum
- pepper and salt
- Put everything in a blender and puree until smooth. Season with pepper and salt and mix. Store in the fridge.
